Last night saw the private view at the Sanctuary Gallery in Northampton of their annual open 20 x 20. Three pieces were selected. 

Some nice work by Helen Jarvis and DELMONTE also included. Runs for a month.

Unfortunately I didn't quite make the final cut for the John Moore's. However I did enjoy my trip to Liverpool to collect the painting where I had a good chat with curator of the show as well as getting to see the exhibition of previous winners. Some big names amongst them. 

In June I'll be showing at the Sanctuary Gallery 20 x 20 Open. Three works were accepted for this and for all three the first time they've been shown. I'll add dates and info for this show soon. If you live in the Northampton area then this is the one for you. 

Also in June I'll be doing Open Studios. Weekends 7/8 and 14/15 from 11-5. If you can make it there's a lot of new work to see. I'm sure there'll be a bottle of wine open just for you.

March news

All a little quiet here with no immediate exhibitions in sight. There's a solo show lined up for later in the year, perhaps September, but all will be revealed in due course. In the meantime I've been pressing on with a new body of work - essentially rolling on from the cancelled exhibition in December. In addition I've been trying to push my collages to form a more solid direction. Some results below.

Unfortunately my solo show with Duckett & Jeffrey has been cancelled.

However I have a lovely body of new work that I'm just finishing off. Around ten new paintings and a dozen collages should start appearing on my main site soon. Hopefully I'll be able to find an outlet to exhibit this work in the new year.
